Ahmed Javed
After completing my PhD at Middle East Technical University, I joined the Plasmonic and Nanophotonic Materials Laboratory to design, simulate, fabricate, and characterize nanophotonic structures. My current research centers on cavity polaritonics, where I explore the fundamental interactions between light and matter in the strong coupling regime to unlock new possibilities in optical and quantum-scale technologies. In my spare time, I enjoy watching historical documentaries/films.

Momil Baig
I am a PhD student in the Plasmonic and Nanophotonic Materials Laboratory at UNAM, Bilkent University. I study excitonic and vibrational strong coupling in optical microcavities to uncover new ways of controlling light–matter interactions. In my free time, I enjoy Arabic calligraphy, long evening walks, and moments of reflection under the night sky.

Yunus Çayır
I graduated from TOBB ETU Materials Science and Nanotechnology Engineering. I aim to engineer structures that convert and guide IR and visible light efficiently, using RCWA/FDTD simulations and cleanroom fabrication processes. Beyond the lab, I enjoy watching movies & TV series, reading and gaming.
Eren Toker
I completed my undergraduate degree in Materials Science and Nanotechnology Engineering at TOBB University of Economics and Technology, where I worked on DNA-CNT interactions using molecular dynamics simulations. My current project focuses on polaritonic modulation of photochemical properties of fluorescence molecules. In my free time, I enjoy traveling, discovering new places, and staying active through various sports, especially motor sports.

I completed my undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering at Ankara University. My current project focuses on studying excitonic and vibrational strong coupling in optical cavities to uncover new ways of controlling light–matter interactions.
